Financial Assistant

The Mobile Company joined forces with the Apadmi Group in 2022 and we have been working as partners since to grow and become the biggest mobile agency in Europe. Our Dutch office is in the Houthavens in Amsterdam and we create digital solutions to mobilise growth for leading organisations and their customers. We do that by solving complex business problems and delivering enriching experiences for people on the move across mobile, web and digital platforms.

The group has a team of over 250 in-house experts who work with our clients to define their digital vision, design and engineer transformational products. Our work helps to solve business challenges for the likes of Fokker, BBC, The Wonder Weeks, Chelsea FC, TB Auction, Van Oord, Vodafone and Domino’s

Overview:

We are looking for a Financial assistant  who will be based in Amsterdam as part of our truly international company. We build great mobile apps. But we do so much more than is visible to the outside world. And that’s where you come in!

What you’ll do

Finance tasks

• Review, book and pay incoming invoices (Exact)
• Checking and sending outgoing invoices (Exact)
• Creating reports (Excel)
• Month-end closing including tax return

Administrative HR tasks

• Forwarding payroll mutations to our payrolling partner
• Managing HR contracts
• Holiday administration, tracking and celebrating staff birthdays etc.

Administrative office tasks

• Onboarding and offboarding employees
• Ordering office supplies
• Contact person for office facilities

What we’re looking for

• To be successful in this role, we’re looking for a candidate who …
• Has experience in bookkeeping (preferable also experience with Exact)
• Preferably experience in payrolling administration
• Fluent in Dutch and English both verbally and written
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well organised and able to tackle tasks in a methodical way.
• Have the confidence to build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
• A collaborative team play with a can do attitude
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
